Hope is Rising in the UK Church and Across Europe

December 2, 2025

“We all know that without Jesus, the Bread of Life, we go hungry spiritually.” Pastor Al Gordon in Shoreditch, UK has noticed the increase of loneliness, mental health issues, and addictions of the post-pandemic young people in the country. Yet, as they hit rock-bottom, they’re crying out for more. Many young people have started showing up to church on Sundays, searching for ways to experience hope, life, and the love of God.

Leslie Hall is the Director of Prayer Initiatives for Greater Europe Mission and also serves SAINT church in Shoreditch, England. She has immensely encouraged the people of SAINT in the growth of their prayer life. Leslie sees the tough spiritual soil of Europe as a challenge, but most importanly as an opportunity to grow Christ’s Church in the UK.

“The Kingdom of God moves in relationships.” Leslie’s statement proved true when hundreds of students from across Europe networked in London. As a result, these students on fire for the Lord are determined to impact their cities for Christ and spread hope across the UK and Europe.

Watch how God is at work in the UK Church and beyond.
